Program Notes
Six Miniatures was completed in 2011. The work consists of six short vignettes that explore some of the many textures and timbres available to this ensemble. Each miniature follows a different overall dynamic envelope: loud to soft, soft to loud, all soft, all loud, loud-soft-loud, and soft-loud-soft.
