An all-Halka concert (and final DMA recital)! Six Miniatures for brass quintet will finally get its premiere, Panji Fantasy for solo piano will get a repeat performance, and more new works for clarinet and percussion, string quartet, and fixed media will be performed.

ONIX Ensamble, the Mexican ensemble that commissioned and performed the 2010 premiere of Por la Fuerza las Tierras, will perform the work at the 34th annual San Miguel de Allende International Chamber Music Festival.

The filmed live premiere of Julius will be shown at the Anthracite Heritage Museum’s 5th Lithuanian Heritage Day. Additionally, soprano Maryte Bizinkauskas and pianist Michael McAndrew will perform live an aria from the the opera.

The California State University Northridge Symphony will give the world premiere of Scherzo for orchestra. The performance will be part of the orchestra’s first concert in CSUN’s newly completed Valley Performing Arts Center.
